Canon Vicars serves as part-time Priest Associate.
Vicars hails from the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia. His career progressed from management positions in the corporate world until when, in 1983, a profound spiritual experience led him to surrender his life to Jesus Christ, prompting a shift in his life's trajectory.
Throughout his career, Vicars has been actively involved at both the Diocesan and national church levels, serving on Diocesan Council, General and Provincial Synod, and participating in various ministries.
Vicars, a proud father of three adult children and two grandchildren, describes himself as someone learning to follow Jesus. Passionate about God's word, he encourages the faithful to discover and use their gifts for Kingdom purposes. Vicars looks forward to the challenges and possibilities at Trinity Church, expressing optimism about the current leadership team in place.
